Assistant at Uber (32 - 40 hour)

What will you be doing?

As Assistant to our Uber team, you will be responsible for the administration and agenda management for several transaction managers. You are responsible for the coordination of all meetings and will be in touch with colleagues of CBRE and Uber for the arrangements. I big part of your work will be the correspondence with internal clients, estate agents and drafting and maintaining order confirmations of documents in English; all our activities cover all EMEA. You are responsible for the sending, following up and digital archiving of the order confirmations, rental contracts and other documentation concerning commercial rental transactions. You will do this for 4 teammates in the Netherlands, but you also support a colleague in London and a colleague in Dubai. You will be involved in monitoring the deadlines, keeping records, organizing (team) meetings and all sorts of ad hoc activities, including team activities and work-related visits from colleagues from abroad.

Therefore, you feel very involved in your work and you are trying to help wherever possible. You are the glue in the team and one word is enough what gives you energy. You enjoy working in a team, but you also like to take the initiative yourself!

This is what your average day as Ubersupporter looks like:
Your alarm clock rings, you jump into the shower and prepare for the day to come. When you arrive at the office you first grab a healthy breakfast in the restaurant and then pick a desk on the floor. As soon as your Outlook started, you first check all the agendas to see if there are meetings for which you need to prepare anything for. You have received some emails with questions about order confirmations and one meeting must be rescheduled. You will then be present at a team meeting for which you take the minutes. It's time for lunch! After lunch there appears to be an ad hoc request. A report must be edited, a number of attachments must be looked up and a few more signatures are missing. You will be working on that for a while. In the meantime, get a coffee and catch up with a colleague. Back at your workplace, you help a colleague with an order via the internet and several appointments still must be scheduled. Once the last one is scheduled and your mail is updated, it's time to go home.

What will your team look like?

The Uber team is part of the Advisory & Transaction Services | Occupier business line. This is the business line in which all our services to end users come together. More than 100 passionate professionals work closely together; from integrated accommodation and transaction advice to the design, design and realisation of office environments.

The Workplace Strategies team consists of approximately 15 curious professionals, each with their own expertise. We provide accommodation advice, customised office concepts and change management to a diverse spectrum of clients. We enjoy working with our clients and all the different specialists in order to arrive at the best solution.
