EMEA Senior People Manager (Fulltime)
About the Role
The Senior People Manager we’re looking to hire will manage and oversee the effectiveness of both Corporate and Investment Accounting & Reporting-specific People initiatives and programs for the EMEA region. These programs relate to Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Training & Development, Engagement and Legal/Compliance.
You will link the overall Global People strategy into EMEA business plans and work closely aligned with the business leaders in doing so. You will therefore own and provide People leadership for the EMEA group through the implementation and interpretation of policies and programs, coordination of information flow and people-related communication. That also means partner with field People Business Partner and Centers of Excellence to implement these initiatives, including the delivery of training programs.
At the same time, you will provide leadership, guidance and advice to the EMEA leadership and employees and leverage local People Business Partners to Identify and manage employment related risks. Obviously, you will oversee litigation and investigations in accordance with government regulations and company policy, while dealing with these employee relation matters. In some case you might conduct employee relations counseling, mediation and handle employee grievances yourself.
You will consult with the Global People Lead and the regional leadership regarding all talent management activities, including succession planning and career pathing activities (staffing needs and assessments, compensation, performance management, employee relations, policy compliance, training, etc.) for their respective employee populations. You are expected to go for a greater efficiency of People resources services through the recommendation of new approaches to established, policies, procedures and programs.
Finally, you will also provide transition support in conjunction with outsourcing services contracts and mergers and acquisitions.
- You are analytical and work accurately;
- You are comfortable in working both independently and as a team player;
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- You have strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills and preferably knowledge of PeopleSoft.
- You have an excellent understanding of the English language.
