Strategy Manager Real Estate Uber (Fulltime)
What will you be doing?
As a Strategy Manager you will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance for the key processes and defining the portfolio management priorities for site, area and function planning and other strategic activities for specific engagements and stakeholders as required. You will develop comprehensive management models to support strategic consulting efforts and assignments. Also, you will develop and refine building, city, country and segment reports by collaborating with the owners and managers of databases of the building supply (lease administration), space demand (the occupancy team) and cost. Benchmarking of the portfolio to identify trends, risks and opportunities in the portfolio may be required.
Important in this position is that you will support the management and achievement of financial, operational and other measures (KPI’s) established for Uber. During this process you will collaborate with the CBRE team that is all working for this client, partly at the office from Uber. Together you will develop the real estate plans and implement strategies for achieving savings and cost avoidance goals. To achieve your goal, you will be in contact with the business to identify future business directions related to growth, labor, market changes and other issues that could impact real estate requirements. This will provide insights relative to strategic and/or optimization focused initiatives as required.
You will prepare and presents deliverables in oral, written and visual formats relative to the client’s strategy, the industry and best practices as required. Your work location will vary between the Office of CBRE and the office Uber, both are based in Amsterdam within the city ring.
What can you offer us?
- You are highly analytical and work accurately;
- You have 5 years’ experience within Real Estate with emphasis on Strategic Planning, Occupancy Planning and Transaction Management;
- Your expertise is in corporate finance preferred with 7 years’ asset/portfolio management experience;
- You are good at working independently, but are also a team player;
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- You have an excellent understanding of the English language.
